无心约定

一位五岁大的小男孩被送进一间孤儿院里。
过了几天，孤儿院里的工作人员向院长投诉这小男孩很顽皮，不听话，
中午就是不睡午觉，常常一个人自言自语。
在一个下午，院长为了要调查究竟是否有此事，
偷偷的趴在地上，一步一步的爬过去，
不幸被那小男孩发现了，小男孩就赶紧躺在床上假睡。

第二天早上，院长就令工作人员带领这小男孩到办公室里。
小男孩从车上下来，就到处跑及大喊乱叫，
就好像怕进入办公室被人责骂（以前在学校里，当我们被令到办公室，就是那种滋味）。
院长见到了那小男孩，就把一个棒棒糖交给他，
他接受了，工作人员就把他送回孤儿院。

第三天，院长要见这小男孩，
像昨天一样，一下车就大喊大叫乱跑。
院长同样的，把一个棒棒糖交了给他，
把他送回孤儿院。

第四天的早上，一样的，院长也要见这小男孩，小男孩下了车，
他不像两天前，不再乱叫及乱跑。进了办公室里，他很自然的到处走动，看这看哪。
见到了院长，院长一样的，给了他一个棒棒糖。
小男孩开口说“你可以再给我多几个棒棒糖吗？
房里的其他男生看见我有，他们也想要”院长就再给了他多几个棒棒糖，
小男孩表现出一脸满足的表情。

院长摸摸了小男孩的头，然后就问“你平时乖啊？”
小男孩马上回应“我平时有乖乖的”
院长再问“为什么工作人员说你不乖呢？”
小男孩静静地了头不出声，一会儿，
小男孩小小声地说“妈妈没有来，妈妈说她明天会来，
如果我下午睡着了，就看见不到她。。。”
院长从五岁大的小孩口中听到一个出乎预料的答案，
又继续问“那你常常为什么要自己跟自己说话呢？”
小男孩回答“我一直对自己说，妈妈下午要来，不能睡，睡了就看不到妈妈”

听了这个，也许你觉得是个小故事，
其实这是我从一位院长亲口说的一个真人真事。
听了之后感到很心酸，一时的感触，就写了这个与你们分享。
一个小小的无心约定，却带给一个小小心灵的永远期待。。。

AOL drops Active Virus Shield (No more Free Kaspersky)

According to the NetworkWorld,
"Active Virus Shield had its own licensing complications. When it was first launched last year, it came with a licensing agreement that some said was overly demanding and would permit AOL to send spam or serve up adware to users at some point in the future. After media reports, AOL vowed to remove the controversial licensing terms. "

Today I want to download it, go to http://www.activevirusshield.com/, then only realize they dropped it off and then introduce McAFree VirusScan Plus, sorry, not McAFree, is McAFee.......not FREE...

SAD...sad..such a good antivirus and they choose to dropped it.....anyway...for those who still have the installation file for ActiveVirusShield, you still can use it until it got expired (Mine going to expired on 21-10-2007, two more months to go...)

Well...to be frankly, i haven't tried McAFee yet.....try to downloading it now... it only available for AOL customer only....therefore, if you want to get this free Antivirus, you have to go to http://www.aol.com/ to register the email for free....Make sure the info you registered in AOL is the "RIGHT" address, phone number.......else you wont be able to register it...

After got the account, go back to the http://www.activevirusshield.com/ and follow the instruction to download the McAFree..before install it...my advise is ...uninstall all your other's antivirus to prevent the "BLUE SCREEN" crashed your windows...

Why Gal is more difficult to be understand rather than guy?

I guess...in many times, girls always concerned about this question "Guys are difficult to be understand"

Today i wanted to write a post of "Why Gal is more difficult to be understand rather than guy?"

Read the story below:

guy: what do u wish to eat today?

girl: erm..anything lo

guy: kopitiam food?

girl: duwan la...everyday working also eating the kopitiam food...

guy: wanna eat mamak stall?

girl: duwan...i not feel to eat spicy food now..

guy: McD or KFC?

girl: duwan...I just ate fast food 2 days ago

guy: Sushi King, ok?

girl: I not feel to eat rice....everyday dinner also eat rice although it is not really just only rice.

guy: erm........like that, how about secret receipe?

girl: ok la..cincai..we go la!

(*GUY THOUGHT: if like that, firstly you should just tell me you want to eat western food....)







One of the worst situation is when a guy make a gal angry.
guy: can you forgive of what i did just now, sorry...ok?

girl : ok.......
(Silent for few minutes....)
guy : do you wanna go shopping today?

girl: anything

guy : what do you wan to eat today?

girl: anything...

guy :........

guy : are you still angry now?

girl:.....yes i do

guy : but i already said sorry just now.

girl: ya, but i'm still feel angry.

guy : what should i do in order make you cool down?

girl: how do i suppose to know? isn't you should think it yourself rather you ask me this?

guy : .......(feel so innocent to say that)

guy : then why do you said "ok" while i say sorry to you? i thought it is already over?

girl: ya, but it doesn't make me feel better after that

guy : ...................................(SOOO INNOCENT)

(*GUY THOUGHT: if like that, what should i do if i cant really know what she think! HARD TO GET HER MIND!)




Based on the dialogue above, as you see, girl is more difficult to understand...they mindset design is designed in a way not guys can understand? If you not believe on what i say, look at the picture below.

Search Images in Flickr Thumbnails

I think most of you know about the free image hosting site www.flickr.com

When we want to search photos by key in the keyword, it only returned us 24 thumbnails size with the huge ad on the side...

What i feel is quite a waste of space....Obviously i also didnt mean they are doing wrong since the ad is also part of their income. Anyway, i more prefer to view it in this way

It provides the search to retrieve the thumbnails from flickr and display them as many as possible on the your screen. The AJAX technology they are using also enchanced the speed of display with preloading the thumbnail images into the browser cache.

So, which one you prefer now?

This guy seriously torture his pc by installing windows xp with this spec

He claimed that the pc can access internet too! Just that it required 10 minutes time to open the page, haha!

I wonder how long the time he took to boot into this windows xp.

Number prediction,is this MAGIC Gopher?

1)Think of a number with 2 digist, for example 43

RHB BANK Online Banking PHISHING!

Today i got 3 emails with the same content from RHB BANK, take a look at the snapshot.

Email Title as :

1) Client's Data Confirmation

2) RHB Bank - Security issues. - Sat, 06 Jan 2007 10:53:42 -0800

3) RHB Bank - alert [Sat, 06 Jan 2007 07:51:20 -0800]

Someone who try to use RHB Bank to send the false information to mislead the customer to login from that URL. Although it said: Sender from : RHB Bank [service-id891284464525079ib@rhbbank.com.my]

But.........it is FAKE!

In addition, as it said, click the following link http://www.rhbbank.com.my/procedureid0731104377/client.shtm


If you click on it, it will lead you to the page

http://www.rhbbank.com.my.procedureid4516105.toprworld.biz/client.shtm

This url is isn't same as above...LOOK CAREFULLY, the bottom url stard with www.rhbbank.com.my and postfix "toprworld.biz" behind it. It means tat page is belonged to toprworld.biz rather than rhbbank.com.my.


If you click on it, it will lead you to a page which has the EXTACT same interface Look and feel

Let's take a look at real one, only small differences...Look at the URL address, it is totally different url.

Although i don't have Bank account in RHB bank, it still received this. If you know any of your family and friend using online banking, please tell them, NEVER trust on any incoming email that tell you required to do confirmation on client profile, no matter it is from RHB, or Maybank, WHATEVER bank.....I believe our BANKING industry won't do things so simple....They will ask you PURPOSELY go to your own branch to validate your profile rather send an email to make your life simple.

Please pass this message on, NEVER click on any link in your email to ask you VALIDATE your bank account!
