Petrol Price Raise Up again?

Yup! Government decided it and I managed to get that "news" half and hour earlier before it reach to 12midnight.........I was in ZzzZZzzZZzz...didn’t noticed the sms that sent from my friend.

Wake up at 6:30am as usual...rush out to work at 7.00am...Jam as usual at the Kesas highway and also Jalan Persiaran.....come out earlier still jam (less jam a bit)

Raise up 30 cents is a BIG deal! The price now is almost 120% from the previous price. Normal primary school calculation, i used around RM200 petrol in every month. One year is RM2400....now i need to pay another additional 20% which is RM480...........a lot of sushi i can bought with that price!!!

No wonder my friend told me at night he saw many peoples bring their "buckets" to go fuel station that night! Well.......i really think of why government didn't want to announce it earlier? How come i read the newspaper, the international and domestic petrol price is still going down......why our country the petrol price is going opposite?

Last night i heard one of the colleague said......"Malaysia produce petrolium masih nak naik harga, jika macamtu lebih baik kita semua pergi jual petrol"...In the end, everyone wanna to sell petrol...that's the thing everyone "NEED" and price always go higher from time to time.

What is our alternative ways in order to save petrol money.
1)Legs - Walking no required any additional transportation...pls remember to bring the umbrella (for rain and also prevent people rob you), a 100 plus (for thirst), pepper spray (for self protection)...If you take car required half hour to reach, please make sure you need to depart from your house 3 hours earlier.
1)Bicycle - Good for your healthy and no petrol required at all.
2)Motocycle - Can save more petrol, but obviously more dangerous than driving car, and imagine about rain
3)Bus - Never come on time, you might think this is the cheapest way, but please also consider the time you required to wait for the bus and also comfortable.
4)KTM - Always not come on time nowaday, especially when raining......
5)LRT - i think this is still Ok, just for some peak hour you might not able to squeeze yourself into the train.
6)Car pool - Good idea? Unless you all really Follow the company rule "reach at 9, go back at 6", never work OT...
7)Taxi - Not really cheap...high price...Poor for the taxi driver...the fare is still the same...

The Star today's newsletter..."Minor impact from fuel price hike"..........who said...
That is a cycle and everything going to raise their price higher. Let's said you are the hawker to sell "Fried Kue Tiau", and you don't want to take the burden of the fuel price, what will you do? Of course you will raise your "Fried Kue Tiau" price..then.....the people who wanna to eat "Fried Kue Tiau" have to pay higher price......
Let said another truck driver wanna to eat "Fried Kue Tiau" feel unhappy with the price, then he also wanna to raise up his price in order to buy more "Kue Tiau"...
a cycle one link to another one.......in the end...........only our salary didnt raise up (We working under others...that's why...)

One word to decribe "Poor"

there are a few thing I want to mention.

1) We are not suppose to entitled to enjoy the fuel subsidize from the beginning at all. Comparing to other country, we are very very lucky. So stop complaining it.

2) a Saving of 4billion is a lot of money for the government to further more improve on our current infrastructure. and if there is another 4Billion I would suggest to to build a disney land or any tourist attraction in Malaysia to generate more income and boost the local economy. (see what Dubai Government did. Dubai is now a popular vacation place)

3)Malaysia's Petroleum Oil is high quality one. It is better to export at higher price.

4) The current oil price stay above US$60. and without subsidize, we are suppose to pay RM2.5 per litre. and again the rising price is to cut the government spending on oil subsidization.

Billy, tell us things we don't know, not things we already knew. A sudden increase of 30 cents is very high.

The gov has been talking about improving the public transportation and its infrastructure for years... but what we seen far? Practically none. The buses are never on time, the trains are getting less frequent, the LRT is only convenient to some and not all.

If the public transportation is good, we don't even need to drive to reach our destination already. A fine example is Putrajaya. It's a new place, yet parking has always been a problem.... the buildings are beautifully designed and built but yet again, bad planning. And those without cars will have to take ERL which charges approx. RM 9.50 from KL Sentral to Putrajaya Station and another RM 10 for a cab. The bus are circulating but I do not know the price and it's not even circulating the whole of Putrajaya or Cyberjaya. You have to walk a distance to the bus stops. And pls be reminded, the fair I mentioned is only for your way there. How about getting back?

So now, lets just see how the RM 4 bil saved be spent. Will be wisely spent or another wastage of public fund by the gov.?

Wah, suddenly this becomes a forum issue already. Relax ler. I'm sure they will put the money to good use (I hope) and you gotta give them time to improve the country's er...facilities (I'm not even sure whether I know what I'm talking about).

Philip: Why are we still here...it's the same reason as why would a person insist on living next to a volcano, knowing that he can easily be a victim of an erruption anytime? This is only a small matter compared to that. It's home after all ;)

maybe we just need to think about if we r the Government, can we do anything better than the current in order to improve the Malaysian economic?

price goes higher is expected. Just that last time you can eat Sushi King everyday, now you might only able to eat it every weekend....tat's the different because the money you spend on the sushi king will going to spend into your petrol (haha......this explaination is a bit too much la, as i said, every year just extra another RM500 for petrol.....not too much, not too less...

In Philip's remark to YS's "poor", he was saying that, if we do have money, we won't have to bother or worry about the price hike.

All of us has a choice to choose. Stay where we are and complain all the time, move to the country side where you will not feel the inflation or take actions that will supplement our income. Some choose to work harder and hope for a raise or promotion, some are doing investments, some are doing freelance or part time...

So what Philip is trying to say is... why are we still here? What are we doing to have a more financial stability of our own? What actions are we taking to overcome?

Sometimes the gov is too overly ambitious that they forget the very simple and basic things. Back to the Putrajaya example, it's a beautiful place to be. But knowing that parking and jam is always a problem in KL, why aren't they building enough parking lots there? Most of the parking there is for VIPs and staffs. How about the visitors? They have ERL passing thru Putrajaya/Cyberjaya but it's so darn far (somewhere very isolated) that we need to take another mode of transport to reach our destination.... Putrajaya was planned so long ago... why didn't they take such factors into consideration?

Its normal that u didnt c, coz i m in the middle of the process n havent reach my goals yet.

Same like some other successful ppl in the world. U only c them after they r successful, but did u c where r they when they r still fighting n building their business?

What you c is the front but not the path behind each person. If you c it u wont be making such statement ^-^ but its normal when someone is growing n learning throu life goes. Juz matter of time.
